Renovations are kind of our specialty around here, and nothing makes us happier than breathing new life into old properties.
When we work on a renovation project we complete full construction/permit drawings, all material and finish selections, and we work closely with your contractor(s), working to ensure that the process is as seamless as possible.
The Renovation Design Process
Discovery Call
All potential projects begin with a complimentary discovery call. We get to know you, your home, how you live and operate in your space, and what you’d like to see changed. This consult is incredibly valuable for gathering information and determining how best to assist you.
After our discovery call you’ll receive a quote for our services based upon our consultation. Upon approval, the fun begins!
Design Kickoff
Our project kickoff meeting begins with a site visit to gather detailed dimensions, photos and information needed for the project. We discuss project timeline, budget and set a schedule for upcoming design presentations.
First Design Presentation
At our first design presentation we share our initial thoughts for our recommended layouts, concepts and selections based upon our information gathered and what we think is best.
Revisions
After the initial design presentation we take your feedback and get to work on our revisions to complete your plan(s)! You can expect a bit of communication back and forth during this time while we finalize the details. Depending on the scope of the project, an additional 1-3 design meetings occur as we revise our selections and details prior to our final design presentation.
Final Presentation
With revisions made, we share the final design plan. All of our selections and plans are now complete and we’re ready to place orders and for construction to begin.
Construction Process
Throughout the construction, we perform periodic site visits as needed to make sure the designs are being executed to our exacting standards. We meet your trades on site to review drawings and make changes whenever necessary. We like to be the primary point of contact to keep things moving along as efficiently as possible, allowing you to have a much more enjoyable renovation experience.
Completion & Review
Upon project completion, we schedule a final site walkthrough to review any outstanding items, and make sure you love your renovated spaces!
Furniture & Styling
If interested, clients can take the design process a step further and work with us beyond the renovation, concentrating on furniture and decor. We offer a range of services that can be added onto your renovation:
Furniture layout with suggested sizing and scale
General design concepts
Sourcing, ordering and arranging delivery of all furniture and decorative accessories
Styling (bookshelves, open kitchen shelving, coffee table, etc.)
